Marcus D’Ambrosio
OWNER
Marcus D’Ambrosio has been designing hair in Albuquerque, NM since 2001. His training began at The Carsten Institute in Phoenix, AZ. After returning to New Mexico, Marcus trained with Redken, and became both a Redken educator and a Certified Redken Colorist. Marcus also received his BA from UNM’s Anderson School of Management. His award winning business plan, for UNM’s Business Plan Competition, was the inspiration for D’Ambrosio Designs Hair Studio.
Marcus prides himself in his listening skills, and ability to not only give his guests a finished product that looks great, but deliver a product that they asked for and wanted. Marcus has the ability to keep his guests up to date keeping in mind his clients personal style. It’s important to Marcus that his clients’ hair looks amazing not only when he styles it the day of their service, but when the style their hair on a daily basis.
Marcus has studied at the headquarters of Bumble and bumble, Goldwell, and Redken. He has been an educator for both Goldwell and Redken, and continues to learn and grow as both a businessman and artist.
Berenice Hernandez
Master Stylist
Berenice established herself, over the past 15 years, in the busy salons of San Jose, California. She is a native Californian and draws much of her inspiration for hairstyling from the fun, hip, and effortless lifestyle of the West Coast. Over the years, she remains ever inspired by the creativity, and artistic nature, of the hair and beauty industry.
Nicole Brown
Master Stylist
Nicole Brown has been active in the hair industry since 2002. While loving all color services, she specializes in blondes, grey coverage, and vivids. Nicole is trained to use a plethora of color lines, but depending on the client’s needs, she uses a combination of Goldwell and Schwarzkopf color. She loves creating an entire look with her skill, experience, and using up-to-date cut and color techniques.
Kristen Staples
Master Stylist
Kristen has been a stylist since 2002 in Savannah, GA. She loves how the beauty industry is ever evolving and enjoys keeping on top of emerging trends. Kristen is a classically trained stylist with an extensive education spanning many well known companies such as Toni & Guy, Paul Mitchell and Davines. Providing her clients with consistently elevated service experiences is a top priority
Kevyn Bean
Stylist
Kevyn is truly a well-rounded, charismatic, diverse, and most importantly-an extremely talented hair artist, and heart of our salon. After first working as a temporary salon receptionist, as a favor to Marcus, Kevyn not only began to fall in love with the staff- but the art of hairdressing!
Jazzmine Gray
Stylist
Jazzmine is a graduate from CNM’s cosmetology program. At the end of this unique program Jazzmine received not only her cosmetology license, but her associates degree. Jazzmine’s favorite part of her job is making people look, and more importantly, feel amazing.
